Drop-off/Parking
As this is a home-based dance studio, street parking is not permitted. Parents may drop students off at the curb or by pulling in the driveway depending on what is available.
Please do not bring students more than 5 minutes early or pick them up 5 minutes late.
Observation days
In order to help the dancers do their best during class, parents will be given one specific observation day during the school year. Having a parent in class can be distracting and other young dancers often get confused or upset because their parent is not there as well. More information on specifics for observation days will come.
Classes will be streamed each week on a private Facebook group and more details will be given before classes begin.
Potty Training
It is preferred that children are potty trained before participating in the 3-yo and older dance classes; however it is not required. Parents can use their discretion to determine if their child is ready. Please note that I will not change diapers or pull-ups during the class. It is best to have your child use the restroom before you leave for class or even right when you get to class. Nothing derails a pre-school dance class more than one child needing to go potty . . . because then everyone needs to go potty! However, there is a restroom just off of the dance studio for those instances that do arise despite a child going right before class. Before classes begin you may want to practice and make sure your child knows how to take their dance clothing off and on while using the restroom. Often dance clothing is more difficult than regular clothing for using the potty.
